Green Animals Topiary Garden:
Not accessible

Due to the historic nature of Green Animals Topiary Garden, most of our formal and informal gardens are not accessible for guests with limited mobility. Tour route involves narrow pathways and uneven surfaces. Brayton House is not open for visitation but visitors can access the Brayton House Virtual Tour of the museum from their own digital device onsite. Service dogs are welcome.

Parking lot

The parking lot for Green Animals is located next to the entrance. There are 2 handicapped parking stalls. The distance from the handicapped stall to the main entrance of the house is 110 feet.

Outdoor paths

The paths around the Green Animals landscape vary in width. The narrowest pathways are 28 inches wide, with the average paths being 32-36 inches wide. The pathways around the landscape consist of grass, pea stone and rough wood-chip mulch. The central driveway and path to the ticket booth are paved asphalt.

Restrooms

Restrooms are located in a separate building and must be accessed by climbing one step. The restrooms are not accessible-equipped.
