We've just debuted an updated audio tour at The Elms, more than a decade after it became the first of the Newport Mansions to offer one. The updated tour reflects recent research, and describes the lacquer panel restoration in the breakfast room, tells the story of the return of the Venetian paintings in the dining room, and adds more information about servant life in the Gilded Age. Even if you've taken The Elms tour recently, there are plenty of new things to learn in this revised tour, so come back and see us again!
Audio tours are also offered at Rosecliff, Marble House, and The Breakers, where you have a choice of the main tour or the Family Tour, oriented to children of all ages.
At all of the Newport Mansions, you will find a world of exceptional elegance and inspiration in architecture, art, interior design and landscapes. Explore 250 years of American history at our 11 historic properties, located on 80 acres of gardens and parks. Please join us for a journey back in time at one of America's premier collections of historic house museums.
