Due to Rhode Island's high transmission risk level, indoor face coverings for both vaccinated and un-vaccinated visitors and staff will be mandatory beginning Tuesday, August 10. This includes all Preservation Society properties.

Personal Tours are offered only at house museums that are currently open and during normal operating hours while the general public is also visiting.

For the ultimate experience, this tour offers exclusive access to areas not open to the public. You and your guests will enjoy a three-hour escorted tour that will allow you to visit multiple Newport Mansions properties and view areas not open to the public. Whether your interest is in touring our Greenhouses, our Conservation area, The Elms Stable, the basement kitchen of Chateau-sur-Mer, the attic of The Breakers and Kingscote or other areas off the public tour, this exclusive opportunity allows you to see the Newport Mansions from a new perspective. Our skilled staff will provide you with suggestions for these private areas and will work with you to customize your tour to include locations that you’ve always wanted to see. Please note, depending on your selections, this tour may include several flights of stairs.
