Chief of Staff
Terry joined the senior staff of the Preservation Society as Director of the Visitor Services Department in 1996 following a 22 year career in the U.S. Navy as an enlisted man and commissioned officer. He assumed the role of Chief of Staff in late 2011 after serving as Special Assistant to the CEO from 2000 - 2011.
Terry has a B.A. in history from the University of La Verne and a M.A. in Human Resource Management from Pepperdine University.
Terry is past Chair of the Historic House Museum Professional Interest Committee of the American Association of Museums (AAM), and a former Rhode Island Team Captain for the American Association of State and Local History (AASLH). He serves on the Board of Directors of the Arts & Cultural Alliance of Newport County.
