No vacation is complete without photos, a way to remember your trip and to share it with family and friends.  Visitors to the Newport Mansions are welcome to photograph or videotape the exterior of the houses and their grounds for their own personal use.  But for the protection of the collections, no interior photography or videography is allowed, and no commercial use of any photographs taken on the grounds is permitted except with advance written permission from the Preservation Society.

Every visitor who purchases and uses a ticket to visit the buildings and grounds accepts this limitation implicitly.  Members, guests of members, persons visiting on passes or escorted as members of tour groups and fam tours agree to the same limitations. Under no circumstance may photos taken under these licenses be used for commercial purposes or distributed to stock photography houses.
