Join us in historic Newport, Rhode Island for a stimulating weekend of lectures, social events, and camaraderie hosted by the Preservation Society of Newport County. The Newport Symposium is New England’s preeminent convening of national and international experts in the fine and decorative arts.
Full registration for the 26th Annual Newport Symposium, Great Collectors: Taste, Passion & Patronage weekend includes all lectures and presentations in addition to Thursday guided tours, lunch on Friday and Saturday, opening reception, the private dinner at The Breakers on Saturday evening and Sunday morning reception. Additionally, all participants receive complimentary admission throughout the weekend to the Preservation Society houses that are open for the season and the special exhibition Bohemian Beauty: The Aesthetic Movement and Oscar Wilde’s Newport at The Galleries at Rosecliff. New attendees are invited to join the Newport Symposium Committee for a special welcome dinner on Friday evening.
One-day only registrations are also available for Friday and Saturday.

Scholarships for Students and Emerging Professionals
Scholarships are to assist undergraduate and graduate students and emerging professionals interested in attending the Symposium. Scholarships are designed assist with travel and lodging expenses and cover the cost of attending all lectures and events. A limited number of scholarships are available. The Newport Symposium makes a limited number of scholarships available to students and emerging professionals each year. Please consider including a tax-deductible donation to the Newport Symposium Scholarship Fund to help us support the travel, accommodations and registration of next generation of scholars and museum professionals!
In the event that registrants are unable to attend the Newport Symposium due an unforeseen schedule change, please be advised that participants who cancel by midnight on Monday, March 26, 2018, regardless of reason, will receive a full refund less a $50 processing fee. After Tuesday, March 27, 2018, all tickets are non-refundable, regardless of reason, but may be transferred. Please call 401-874-1756 or email emarchi@NewportMansions.org to cancel or transfer your registration by the dates indicated above.

Your ticket to the Newport Symposium includes notice that we may photograph, videotape and/or record this program for promotional purposes. By accepting the ticket you have agreed that you may be videotaped or photographed incidental to the program.
